CWIC is a specialty lines company whose core book of business consisted of general liability coverage for the recreation market, such as guides and outfitters, snowmobile tour operations, trail rides, white water rafting, amusement devices and operations, ski rentals, and similar recreation industry operations. Colorado Western Insurance Company has ceased issuing insurance policies and is being liquidated. All claims against CWIC must be filed with the Liquidator on or before September 30, 2005.
